ASB distributed 28,500 cotton/non-medical face masks to refugees staying at the Diavata, Katsikas, Filipiada, Doliana refugee camps and all over mainland Greece with the support of IOM and DRC in order to fight against the global COVID-19 pandemic. The face masks were donated by German fashion house HUGO BOSS which had made contributions of in-house produced non-medical face masks to ASB amongst other organizations around the globe.
ASB distributes hygiene products to the camp’s population on a regular basis but because of Covid 19 stricter hygiene measures have been implemented which include the requirement to wear a mask.
During a recent ASB distribution each person both children and adults staying at the Diavata, Katsikas, Filipiada, Doliana refugee camps received two cloth masks each.
As part of an effort to stay safe and with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) cotton cloth masks donated by German fashion house HUGO BOSS have been distributed in refugee camps all over mainland Greece.
