Doctors working with WAHA International, ASB’s implementing partner on the project funded by European Commission Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO) have devoted their spare time, after work in medical clinics in camps, to organize a series of educative sessions addressed to the beneficiaries.
A brochure with a special diet for people with diabetes (written in English and Arabic, prepared by the help of Dr Hasan and our interpreter Ahmed Al Saleh) was distributed in the end of the session to diabetic patients. This friendly, interactive presentation was highly appreciated by the beneficiaries and WAHA promised to repeat it in the near future.
