New housing units in Diavata refugee camp every day

At this moment, Diavata refugee camp near Thessaloniki has 10 new housing units successfully positioned on the spots previously constructed. ASB team currently works on the recovery of the old water pipe in order to stop the current and prevent any future leakage, and as soon as the problem is resolved, more new housing units will enter the camp.

At the same time, supporting walls are being constructed, ground works are in progress, as well as all the networks and connections to new housing units (electrical, water, sewerage, lighting, wifi and TV network).

Project is funded by European Commission Humanitarian Aid and implemented by ASB Greece. Photos by Giannis Papanikos.
